About "Time for Help" Project
Adinkra symbols – ancient wisdom symbols of the Ashanti Culture – are African visual symbols, originally created by the Akan, that represent concepts or aphorisms. They are found in Ghana and in several other african countries.
This painting series is a tribute to African wisdom and beauty, as a single image can contain as many lessons as we are ready to learn. Inspired by Ghana Portraits, an photography series by Mirela Fioresy.
