‘Tokyo Ways’ in the Curated Collection ‘Urban Pulse’ by Natalie Slater

'Tokyo Ways' em Coleção Curada "Urban Pulse" por Natalie Slater

Tokyo Ways” was selected for the following curated collection:

'Raw Script' is a curation uniting painters, sculptors, and mixed-media artists whose works channel the immediacy of thought as image. What begins as a fleeting idea, an emotion, or a fragment of memory is transcribed directly onto the surface - as if the canvas itself becomes a page from a private sketchbook.

Doodles, fragments of text, and fractured symbols emerge not as decoration but as raw transmissions, capturing the restless motion of the mind at work. Some compositions recall the spontaneity of equations or the coded shorthand of graffiti; others embrace the childlike freedom of mark-making, where instinct supersedes polish.

What binds these artists is not a single style but an urgency of expression - a refusal to mediate or refine the spark of creation. Their works inhabit the threshold between drawing and painting, gesture and word, memory and immediacy. Together, they form a visual archive of thought in motion, where art becomes both document and declaration.

Curated collection by Natalie Slater, Singulart Curator.

[SUB] WAYS

‘Time for Help 2’ in Rêves d’Enfance Collection by Chaltiel Attali, Attaly, France

'Time for Help 2' em Coleção "Rêves d'Enfance" por Chaltiel Attali, Attaly, França

“Time for Help Vietnam 2” was selected for the following curated collection:

Curated collection by Chaltiel Attali (Attaly) for Singulart Platform.

TIME FOR HELP SERIES

The artwork featured in this curated collection is from the Time for Help series. This series portrays children from orphanages in Vietnam and Nepal, using personal photographic references as starting points. Through painting, I reimagine their presence by negotiating absence and presence within the composition.

White space refers to gaps and interruptions in their early lives, while also suggesting potential: what remains open and unresolved. Color emphasizes an inherent vitality and inner life - qualities intrinsic to childhood - even under constrained or adverse conditions.

“Time for Help Vietnam 2” was selected for the following curated collection:

"Inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre's famous quote, this curation explores the human condition in all its complexity. Between lightness and gravity, solitude and community, each work reflects the inner tensions of existence: the injunction to choose, to position oneself, to define oneself. The paintings and drawings gathered here reveal introspective figures, anonymous crowds seen from above, and suspended gestures.

They convey the beauty and sometimes the violence of our freedom: the freedom that forces us to invent our own meaning, to confront the vertigo of choice, but also to create our own path. This exhibition is an invitation to face up to our responsibilities, but also to celebrate the creative force within our freedom. As if each painting became a mirror of our own decisions, our impulses, and our doubts.
